Now, ever since starting a family about 20 years ago, I found it harder and harder to manage my weight…
I expected a few extra pounds to come with motherhood…
But I didn’t realize how challenging it would be to feel comfortable in my own body again — even as a tall woman…

This all really hit me when during a routine check-up my doctor told me my cholesterol levels were too high.
That made me pause and reflect…
But considering how I let myself go for the last few years. I wasn’t surprised at all.
Still, it was a serious wake-up call, especially after watching someone close to me struggle with long-term health challenges years earlier.
That alone was enough to scare me.
My motto is: A cup a day keeps the weight away!
